Red River Gorge by Thomas Geraghty
It's a Natural Bridge That leads me to The Red River Gorge. It's the best land in Kentucky There is so much to explore. You can climb up to a mountaintop And let your thoughts run free. At the Red River Gorge of Kentucky I feel my body quiver As I look down a mighty cliff. And I know I see true freedom There is no way I resist. Just like a lovely lady so beautiful to see. At the Red River Gorge of Kentucky Well I'm on my sacred journey To my lovely pilgrimage And I know that when I get there I'll feel complete tranquility And I know that I belong here It's become a part of me It's my Red River Gorge of Kentucky

I believe it was written in 1987 and recorded on an inexpensive jam box.
It is a tribute to the Red River Gorge in the Daniel Boone National Forest.
A bunch of us used to go there to hike, camp and just get away from the city for a while.
The Gorge is awesome with its natural arches like Sky Bridge, Princess Arch
and tall wooded cliffs like Courthouse Rock and Chimney Top.
